The Segway® Personal Transporter XT offers great performance on different types of terrain with minimum environmental impact. With its off-road tyres, heavy duty mudguards, lithium ion batteries and specially developed software, the Segway XT will take you to virtually any natural spot you wish to visit, along tracks, across rough terrain or on the beach.

The Segway XT is designed to be used by any person who has received proper guidance; no special skills are required. Travellers must be able to do the following:

• Get on and off the Segway XT unassisted, which requires physical abilities similar to going up and down stairs without a banister.
• Travellers must be capable of operating the controls with their left hand.
• Weigh less than 115 Kg.

The Segway XT’s low-pressure tyres provide shock absorption on uneven surfaces and minimise the tracks left by the wheels. The great tyre width increases stability on uneven terrain, so the XT can handle a wide range of surfaces without any problem: sand, grass, gravel, earth and pavement.
